The Wes Anderson Issue - On Sale Info

On July 1st, we will be opening pre-orders for our 6th issue on the works of American auteur: Wesley Wales Anderson (also known as Wes Anderson for short).

With his newest film Asteroid City now playing in theatres across North America, we are so proud and excited to showcase the immense amount of art from some of our favourite artists around the world all who have taken immense inspiration from his films.

As a Layered Butter first, we're giving you two options to add this latest issue to your collection:
One is our standard edition which you’ve all come to know and love, and the other is a more lavish deluxe edition that’s limited to only 200 copies.

Featuring art we’ve exclusively commissioned for the issue, we’re excited to be teaming up with Grzegorz Domaradzki (aka Gabz) again for two limited edition 8”x10” giclee prints of the iconic Margot and Richie Tenenbaum, a postcard set featuring art by Sam Gilbey from our French Dispatch essay (written by... can’t spoil that yet), and Grand Budapest Hotel diestickers by Colin Murdoch.

The early bird pre-order price of this issue will only be open for July, so if you’re thinking about grabbing a copy, make sure you do so before prices go up on August 1st.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR:

Fractured Families. Whimsical wanderers. Colourful Characters. From the summer sun deep in american suburbia to the exotic views of snow-covered Europe and monochrome Paris to the stop-motion worlds of foxes and dogs; one storyteller has distinctly cemented himself as a maestro of visual storytelling. His films are known for their eccentricity, unique visual and narrative styles, and frequent use of ensemble casts.
