ABOUT THE FILM:

The Godfather is a 1972 American crime film directed by Francis Ford Coppola, who co-wrote the screenplay with Mario Puzo, based on Puzo's best-selling 1969 novel of the same name. The film stars Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, Richard Castellano, Robert Duvall, Sterling Hayden, John Marley, Richard Conte, and Diane Keaton. At the 64th Academy Awards, The Godfather was nominated for eleven awards and won three: Best Actor for Brando, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Picture.


ABOUT THE ARTIST
Drawing comics professionally since the age of fifteen, multiple Eisner Award winning Sean Phillips has worked for all the major comic book publishers. Since drawing Sleeper, Hellblazer, Batman, X-Men, Marvel Zombies, and Stephen King’s The Dark Tower, Sean has concentrated on creator-owned books including CRIMINAL, KILL OR BE KILLED, INCOGNITO, FATALE, THE FADE OUT, PULP and the RECKLESS series, all written by Ed Brubaker. He also regularly draws DVD covers for Criterion, Arrow and Kino Lorber.
